With a passion for freshly roasted coffee, John yearned to supply his cafes with his very own roasted beans. And Todd, a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, affectionately dubbed his morning brew as his "Diesel." The perfect name for their coffee roasting venture was born.

In 2017, the Diesel House Coffee Roasters family grew as John's son, Matthew, ventured to Muskoka with a burning desire to learn all there is to know about the coffee roasting business. His love for coffee began over a decade ago when he started his first job as a barista, and his passion for this complex and flavourful beverage has only grown stronger over the years.
